TETRA PAK CUSTOMERS
Their customers are dairy distributers, juice manufacturers, and other companies in need of good and environmentally friendly packaging for consumable liquids. Test packaging is therefore important in the sales process. The task of obtaining and distributing customized sample packaging to sellers on five continents falls in the hands of the Tetra Pak Package Samples in Lund. An order can contain anywhere from 1-2500 products.

INTERNAL WEBBSHOP FOR SAMPLE PACKAGING
The challenge for Tetra Pak Package Samples is partly to handle their entire range of products, including all variants and external accessories, and partly to ensure that the right sellers in the right country get the right sample packaging within the desired delivery time.

OUR MISSION
The mission for us was to develop a configurator on Tetra Pak's intranet: an internal webshop for sample packaging. The first step was to find out what the needs and wishes of the Tetra Pak Package Samples users were. Then, the working group presented a proposal on how the flow might look - from login to order. Next, Commerz’s system developers built the solution.

ORDERS DOUBLED IN ONE YEAR
Tetra Pak's new webshop for sample packaging makes it easy for sellers to make their orders via the computer. The user is led step-by-step through the process. It's all about choosing packaging type and size for container materials and plastic items, such as corks or straws. And just like in other online stores, there are shopping carts and cash registers.

In just one year, orders of sample packaging have doubled - from 100,000 to 200,000. The big increase is an assurance that the handling is perceived as fast and smooth by Tetra Pak's sales staff. In addition, our solution enhances the work internal to Tetra Pak Package Samples.
