Hotel Goldried is located in Matrei, East Tyrol. The facility has 574 beds spread over 115 rooms, suites, and apartments. The comfort and location, combined with skiing and top-class nature experiences, makes the hotel a prime destination even for returning guests.
HOTEL FOR ALL GENERATIONS
Our mission was initiated with a review of the hotel’s brand. The work included readings and interviews with employees and customers. Commerz concluded that Goldried’s biggest competitive advantage was their ability to attract and instill loyalty in travelers from different generations who travel together. The content and the graphic design of the site were developed to reflect this position: a hotel for all generations.
The booking element of the site, where the visitor enters the details of an upcoming booking, is an important part of all hotel sites. Goldried was no exception. The new booking element is now centrally located on their home page. Shapes, colors, and fonts are used to facilitate the visitor as well as drive requests and bookings. Another measure we implemented was to make the site more responsive. Nowadays, it works equally well whether the visitor is using mobile, tablet, or computer.
MORE BOOKINGS - FEWER CANCELLATIONS
What was the result of our changes? A comparison of Hotel Goldried's reservation mode on January 1, 2014 and December 31 of the same year speaks for itself. Online bookings increased by 45 percent. In addition, the booking of package deals increased by 49 percent. And last but not least: the number of cancellations decreased by 32 percent.
